Applet: Simple Inclined Plane

Here you can explore the physics of the inclined plane. For the mass M, we show all forces, gavity and normal force, acting on it. As you cahnge the angle, you can see how the components of the forces change.

Initially M is at rest, held by the hand. If you release the mass, then the friction force is also acting on the mass. You can adjust that force by changing the frcition coefficient.

Press "Start", and the hand vanishes and start the simuated morion of the box on the plane.
